Lex Chartered 2025 (IND-SG Bar Dialogue)

On 18 March 2025, Madras Bar Association and Rajah & Tann Asia co-hosted the Bar Dialogue between India and Singapore at Lex Chartered 2025 held in Chennai, India. The event brought together legal experts that provided valuable insights into the evolving legal frameworks in these two countries.

Partners Jainil Bhandari and Aleksandar Anatoliev Georgiev from the Shipping & International Trade Practice were the speakers at the session on “Maritime, Commercial, and Insolvency Law – A Transnational Perspective”, where they explored the intricate legal considerations arising from cross-border transactions and disputes in the maritime industry.

In a separate session titled “Arbitration and Mediation – Trends in Vogue”, Partner Avinash Pradhan, Deputy Head of the International Arbitration Practice and Co-Head of Rajah & Tann’s South Asia Desk, and Divyesh Menon from the International Arbitration Practice discussed the latest developments and best practices in alternative dispute resolution.
